Kale Chips

Oven-baked kale chips make a healthy snack. Try other seasonings to “spice” them up a bit. Use fresh kale from your indoor garden in this recipe.  Folks also love to use cabbage leaves, broccoli leaves and cauliflower leaves to make chips. 

Prep Time: approx. 5 Minutes. Cook Time: approx. 5 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 15 minutes. Makes: 4  servings. 

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups fresh kale leaves
  • Olive oil spray
  • Kosher salt, as desired
  • Other seasonings as desired

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet.

Tear or chop the kale leaves into bite-sized pieces. Place on the baking sheet. Spritz the kale with olive oil until lightly coated. Sprinkle with salt.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake at 425 degrees F for 5-8 minutes or until the chips are crispy.
