iHarvest Mesh Noise Buffer

Please be aware that I did have a few problems with my order. Some of which part of the confusion I probably created unnecessarily myself. Regardless, Eileen was patient with me, kind, caring and so helpful in sorting out my various issues. In addition, she set me straight on making sure I am focused on having the best possible outcome of my new iharvest set up. She offered me ideas and also an opportunity to join the Facebook page to converse with other like minded hydroponic growers!!! I will be placing an additional order to ensure I have everything I need for my success thanks to Eileen’s kind advice and direction. I can’t wait to get this thing up and running! Give Eileen a hug for me and a great big thank you.

This does help decrease noise. However, roots grow into and through it, making a tangled mess I couldn’t fully remove when cleaning the Iharvest. When trying to remove roots, the product ripped. I had to throw it away after less than a year of use. Back to the original screen above the reservoir—louder, but lasts and is easier to clean.

It would have been nice if it was posted that the main unit already comes with one of these. Now I have 2.

It works! It actually works!!! Hallelujah! My only big complaint about the iHarvest was the noise. So when I got the email announcing they finally had a solution, I ordered it immediately. It was time to plant a new crop anyway so I tore down and installed this. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with any instructions and there was nothing online, hence the four instead of five stars. I had to contact customer service, but I didn’t have time to wait for a response so I just put this on top of the current mesh and bolts. It comes with two bolts but I have no idea what they do. After customer service responded, I found out I was supposed to remove the current mesh and bolts. But I wasn’t going to tear down again and it seems to be working ok. So far, I’d say the noise is reduced about 60% or so. Once my new crop grows in, it will have even better noise reduction. Worth. Every. Penny.
